Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 July, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov held talks with Chairman of the Board of Hadid Engineering, Sohpian Ariffin.

Hadid Engineering provides engineering and telecommunications services, construction of large residential, commercial and industrial facilities, including the oil and gas and petrochemical industries, as well as the energy industry. In January 2019, in Tashkent, the company established Hadid Kazanakh LLC for the implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan, including in cooperation with the Malaysian largest Internet provider, TM Global, in the provision of telecommunications services.

The meeting at the Embassy discussed the implementation of further steps to implement a pilot investment project for the introduction of high-speed wireless Internet (WiFi) in Khiva.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to hold on 16 September 2019 the official opening ceremony of the company’s representative office in Khorezm region.

It is planned that the representative office will participate in the implementation of the investment project on the introduction of high-speed Internet in Khiva, as well as similar projects in other areas of Uzbekistan by attracting direct investments of the company “Hadid Engineering”.
