Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – About 1,400 candidates for study at the Banking and Finance Academy have already registered to participate in the case championship. For the first time, admission to a university is carried out in the format of team tests, aptitude tests and interviews with employers.

More than 600 people have applied for MBA (banking) training, thus the competition for one place exceeds 20 people. From this academic year, all students of the Academy are required to know one language and understand two other languages (Uzbek, Russian, English).

The training program contains more than 100 academic disciplines, of which students will be able to choose the most relevant ones for their practical activities. Elective courses include FinTech, Data Science, risk management, cybersecurity, emotional intelligence, change management and other interesting subjects.

Professors of the best business schools and professional practitioners from Moscow, Almaty, Cairo, Brussels and other world capitals have been involved in teaching and will participate in training a new generation of heads of banking and financial institutions.

Competition among the participants of the championship is very high, out of 66 teams that applied for participation in the first and second rounds, only 30 were able to get a passing score. The teams solved cases related to the future of financial institutions, reforming the tax system, reducing poverty and dollarization, the impact of new technologies on the economy and society.
