Ravshan Irmatov, a 32-year-old from Uzbekistan, took charge of the FIFA Club World Cup final in 2008, and became the youngest man since 1934 to referee the Opening Match of a FIFA World Cup™ earlier this tournament.

His assistants for tomorrow’s first last-four game in Cape Town will be compatriot Rafael Ilyasov and Kyrgyzstan’s Bakhadyr Kochkarov, while Yuichi Nishimura will be the fourth official and Toru Sagara the reserve assistant referee.
