Rakhmatullaev noted that the selection of Uzbekistan as the host of the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup once again shows great efforts of the government directed to development of football. He said: “FIFA trusted us to host World Cup and we are happy for that.”

Sardor Rakhmatullaev stated: “In our turn, we will give all our energies to ensure high organization level. I think we will cope with the task and we will be able to raise authority of Uzbekistan at the international arena.”

The Uzbek football official said that he is sure that the event will contribute to further development of the women football in Uzbekistan.
