Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 30 June, a ceremonial reception was held at Islam Karimov International Airport to mark the inaugural flight of Qanot Sharq airline on the Tashkent-Budapest-Tashkent route.

The launch of the new flight aims to attract more tourists from Europe, promoting their acquaintance with the unique cultural and historical landmarks of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Hungary to Uzbekistan, József Rózsa, representatives from the Tourism Committee, the Ministry of Transport, JSC Uzbekistan Airports, and passengers.

During the ceremonial opening, speakers emphasized the significance of the new flight for both countries. The event also featured a photo exhibition and dance performances.
