Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The city of Pyeongtaek (South Korea) donated computers to schools in Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan. This was stated by the press service of the administration of the Uzbek region.

In November 2023, the Mayor of Pyeongtaek, Jang Sekin Jung, announced at a meeting held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul that the city would provide sponsorship to provide schools in Syrdarya with modern equipment.

A few days ago, 84 modern computers and 24 printers worth a total of US$75,000 were transferred to selected schools in Syrdarya region.

The khokim of Syrdarya region, Akmaljon Makhmudaliev, noted that relations with the city of Pyeongtaek are developing not only in trade and economic, but also in cultural and humanitarian spheres. Sincere gratitude was expressed to the Korean side for the sponsorship provided.
