The Russian leader signed a corresponding order, which was published on official portal of the legal information of Russia.

President Vladimir Putin agreed with the proposal of the Government of Russia on negotiations to conclude an agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan on procedure for monitoring availability and targeted use of military products, supplied under the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan on development of military-technical cooperation from November 2016.

Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Russia to adopt a decision on signing this agreement after the completion of negotiations.

Uzbekistan and Russia signed an agreement on development of military-technical cooperation in Moscow on 29 November 2016.

The document defines procedure for mutual deliveries of military products, establishment of a favorable regime for cooperation in development, production, operation, repair, modernization and utilization of weapons and military equipment.

It is envisaged that the state-supplier of military products has the right to monitor its availability and targeted use (the order of which will be determined by a separate agreement), and the other party to the contract, respectively, must provide the necessary conditions for such control.
