Public notary offices in Uzbekistan to direct largest part of state duties to local budgets
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Public notary offices in Uzbekistan will direct large part of the state duties, charged for conducting notary action, to the local budgets.

Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyayev inked a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures on implementation of the decree of the President of Uzbekistan from 5 May 2010 “On measures on further improvement of notary institute in Uzbekistan” on 2 June 2010.

In line with the document, public notary offices will direct 73% of state duties, charged for conducting notary action, will be directed to income of local budgets.

The notary offices will direct 12% of state duties for formation of Fund for Development of Courts and Justice Bodies. Other 15% will be used to finance state notary offices and notary archives through accumulation of funds at the treasury accounts of the justice bodies.

As earlier reported, Uzbekistan abolished institute of private practicing notaries from 15 May 2010. The decision was adopted due to serious violations by the private notary offices.
