Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan Sarvar Babakhodjaev received a delegation from Oracle, headed by Vice President Giovanna Sangiorgi. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of National Education.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan told about the reforms being carried out in the field of education in Uzbekistan, in particular, about plans to introduce information technologies and IT education programs in the schools of the country.
The parties discussed establishment of cooperation in the field of education, in particular, within the framework of the Oracle Academy program. The issues of development and implementation of educational IT-programs in schools, as well as the training of local trainers and teachers in the field of information technology, who will train children in the field, were considered.
Sarvar Babahodjaev noted that one of the main goals of the ministry is to enable our children to get IT-knowledge, which will help them find a decent job in the future.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the discussion on the implementation of joint educational projects in the field of public education.
