Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 6 December 2024, a meeting took place between Esin Güral Argat, Chairwoman of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Türkiye) and Vice President of Gürok Holding, and Jamshid Kuchkarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Gürok Holding, based in Kütahya, Türkiye, is a prestigious Turkish enterprise operating in various industries, including glass production, jewelry, tourism, construction, and consumer goods. Founded in 1948, the company has grown significantly and, by 2024, provides employment to more than 4,000 people.

During the discussions, the parties addressed the development of the jewelry industry in Uzbekistan, the introduction of new technologies in jewelry production, the production of goods that meet international standards, and the creation of new projects in this field.

Additionally, the participants exchanged views on developing projects with clear objectives and outcomes in the context of high competition in the jewelry market, producing competitive products at the global level, efficient and rational resource allocation, and leveraging advanced and successful global experiences in the industry.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to develop mutual cooperation and implement effective measures.
