Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Head of the Department for Cooperation with European Countries and European Union Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov met in Stockholm with a representative of the Swedish company AstraZeneca AB, Dunyo news agency reports.

During the negotiations, issues of establishing cooperation to ensure the quality and safety of medicines produced and imported to Uzbekistan were discussed.

Preliminary agreements have also been reached on improving the skills of national personnel in the field of oncology, neurology, diabetes, genetics and respiratory diseases.
