Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 July 2024, at the headquarters of the CIS in Minsk, a working meeting was held at the initiative of the basic organization of the CIS member states in the field of notarial activities - the Belarusian Notarial Chamber. This was reported by the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
Representatives from the notariats of the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan attended the event. The meeting was part of an ongoing internship for representatives of the notariats of the CIS member states, organized by the Belarusian Notarial Chamber, in accordance with the Work Plan of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS member states for 2024.
During the working meeting, a presentation by the CIS Executive Committee on the activities of the basic organization, its history, and future cooperation prospects with the notariats of the CIS member states was delivered.
The presentation highlighted the special role of the Belarusian Notarial Chamber in developing and expanding cooperation in the field of notarial activities within the CIS, as well as its close collaboration with the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS member states and the CIS Executive Committee. The potential of the CIS notarial community to improve the quality of notarial services and further develop international cooperation in this area was also noted.
Participants of the working meeting were given a tour of the Museum of the History of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
