Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 April 2020, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan between the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mirkomil Adilov and the Deputy Chairman of the Hunan Committee for the Promotion of International Trade Yu Biirui.

The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to attend the exhibitions held on the territory of Uzbekistan, as well as to negotiate with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to improve cooperation between the two organizations.

Also, the foreign side represented the developed areas of the province, including production (the production of tea and coffee is well developed), building materials, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.

Also, Deputy Chairman M. Adilov expressed a desire to develop cooperation in the textile industry, including the relocation of production from China to the industrial zones of Uzbekistan in connection with an increase in wages and an increase in production. Moreover, M. Adilov presented the investment potential of Uzbekistan, which greatly interested the foreign side.

Mr. Yu Biirui invited representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Hunan International Exhibitions Center, held from 27 to 29 July in Hunan province.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to discuss further cooperation between the two organizations to improve trade, economic and investment cooperation between the business circles of the two countries, as well as the development of a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the organizations.
