Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Economic Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Durbek Akhmedov, who is in Austria, met with Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mikhail Chudakov, Dunyo news agency reported.

At the meeting, issues of further strengthening cooperation, interaction in the use of alternative energy, and the role of parliament in the development of the industry were discussed.

During the conversation, the parties also discussed plans for cooperation, confirming its high level, and also confirmed mutual interest in intensifying joint efforts to implement new projects.
