Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prosecutors General of the member states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States visited the Martyrs’ Alley in Baku.
The event participants laid flowers at the graves of our compatriots who died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame complex.
The first meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Turkic Council member countries (Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States) is taking place in Baku today. The event is attended by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev.
Before the start of the event, the participants visited the Alley of Honor and honored the memory of the founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, Heydar Aliyev.
The guests laid flowers at the grave of the outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Within the framework of the meeting, bilateral and multilateral meetings are envisaged. The meeting will be attended by the Prosecutors General of Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the First Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan, the Deputy Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the President of the International Association of Prosecutors, etc.
