Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Diplomats visited Iran’s East Azerbaijan province, where they met with the Chairman of the Trade, Industry, Mining, and Agriculture Chamber of Tabriz, Yunus Jaleh, Dunyo news agency reported.
Under the co-chairmanship of Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Fariddin Nasriyev, a business forum was held, gathering leaders from prominent companies and representatives of the region’s business circles. During the event, a presentation was made showcasing Uzbekistan’s trade, economic, investment, and tourism potential.
Participants were informed about the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, along with the favorable conditions and incentives established for investors and entrepreneurs.
Iranian businesspeople highly appreciated the reforms and expressed interest in increasing the volume of mutual trade between the two countries. In this context, discussions were held regarding the organization of a business forum in Tashkent in 2025, featuring representatives from Iran’s business community.
Entrepreneurs from Tabriz were also introduced to a list of promising projects that would be of interest to Iranian businesses, with opportunities to participate in these initiatives offered to them.
