Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 December, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee Mubin Mirzaev and members of the delegation led by the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission for Uzbekistan Yasser Abdih.
During it, information was presented on large-scale tax administration reforms over the past five years and the results achieved.
Issues related to strengthening tax control, strengthening the capacity of auditors and technical assistance from the IMF were also discussed.
It was noted that promising interaction with the IMF and the missions organized by them, as well as proposals presented by experts, occupy a special place in reforming the tax sphere.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue comprehensive cooperation in the field of gradual improvement of tax administration, combating the shadow economy and increasing human resources.
