Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Currently, a working group led by Deputy Minister of Transport I. Abdugafarov is in the Republic of Korea.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the management of Hyundai Rotem, KEC Corporation, Cheil Engineering and Dohwa Engineering on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport and road construction.

During the negotiations, the working group was provided with information about the technical capabilities of modern Korean-made high-speed trains and their features.

Preliminary agreements were also reached on the creation of a Unified Center for Monitoring Public Transport with the help of Korean grant funds, the development of a feasibility study for the construction of a high-speed Tashkent-Samarkand railway, and the joint implementation of projects in the field of road infrastructure on the basis of public-private partnership.

During the visit, representatives of the working group got acquainted with the activities of the online monitoring center for toll roads of the KEC Corporation.
