According to the Uzbekistan Banking Association, a delegation led by China UnionPay President Shi Wenchao will arrive in Uzbekistan to attend the opening ceremony of the project.

UnionPay International is a part of international payment system China UnionPay. It helps to make payments for goods and services, as well as withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide.

The cards are opened in the US dollars and national currency of the country, in which the cards were issued. UnionPay International is currently leads on number of issued cards – 3.5 billion.

UnionPay cards are accepted in 143 countries worldwide, including 1 billion ATMs.
