Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur and the leadership of Hadid Engineering videoconference discussed the implementation of an investment project to introduce high-speed wireless Internet in Khiva, Dunyo reports.

This project is estimated at 2.5 million dollars. It will be implemented with the participation of the largest Internet provider in Malaysia TM Global.

During the negotiations, the executive director of Hadid Engineering, Sohpian Ariffin, said that, despite the pandemic, the company is developing relevant technical documentation and selecting plants for shipment to the republic.

Based on the results of the online meeting, the parties agreed to determine the specific dates for the step-by-step implementation of the investment project taking into account the outbreak of the coronavirus, accelerate the selection of equipment for shipment and installation at relevant facilities, including hotels in Khorezm region, as well as arrange a visit of Hadid Engineering representatives to Uzbekistan as stabilization of the situation with coronavirus in two countries.
