Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and Axens from France held a meeting to discuss accelerating the project for the production of high-quality gasoline in Uzbekistan.

The government of Uzbekistan decided to switch to the production of high-octane gasoline of the Euro-5 class and to stop the production of AI80 gasoline of the Euro-2 class by modernizing the Bukhara oil refinery.

To achieve this goal, cooperation was established between Uzbekneftegaz and Axens on the design of process plants.

At the meeting in Tashkent, issues of accelerating the implementation of the licensor’s design documentation for modernizing the plant were discussed.

The parties also discussed the further development of bilateral relations and plans for the project for the future.
