Uzbekistan increased output of edible alcohol by 9% to 4.936 million decilitres and technical alcohol by 4.2% to 27,200 decilitres. Rectified alcohol production aggregated to 992,200 decilitres, which is up 2.5% year-on-year.
The production of vodka and alcoholic beverage products also grew by 11.8% to 9.435 million decilitres. Cognac’s production rose by 35.8% to 35,500 decilitres and grape wine fell by 3.1% to 2.107 million decilitres.
In the reporting period, Uzbekistan produced 129,900 decelitres of champagne (unchanged) and 18.112 million decelitres of beer (up 11.9%).
