Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Investment Program for 2022-2026, approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekneftegaz is working to implement the first promising investment project in Central Asia for the production of a new the type of oil used to clean large compressors.

This new type of product will be obtained as a result of deep processing based on modern technologies of pyrolysis distillate produced at the joint venture of Uz-Kor Gas Chemical LLC and being a by-product.

The initial cost of the project is US$38.9 million, the customer of the project is Uz-Kor Gas Chemical LLC. The world-famous American company Kellogg Brown and Root, as well as the German company BASF SE, were involved as a project licensor and for the development of project documentation for laboratory and practical analysis.

Currently, together with specialists from Kellogg Brown and Root and Uz-Cor Gas Chemical LLC, preliminary calculations of the project are being developed.

Within the framework of the project, through deep processing of 80 thousand tons of pyrolysis distillate produced by Uz-Kor Gas Chemical LLC, an average of 15.9 thousand tons of import-substituting products per year will be produced, 50% of which will be exported to neighboring countries, which will allow receive an average of US$6.5 million in foreign exchange earnings per year and create 15 new jobs.
