Production at the Uzbekistan GTL plant decreases

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan GTL is reducing production due to need to supply gas to population of Uzbekistan.

The supply of gas to Uzbekistan GTL was decreased by 50% to ensure the stable and safe operation of the plant’s facilities, so that the reduction in production does not have a negative impact on the demand and needs of the population for synthetic diesel products.

Considering that the Uzbekistan GTL plant produces electricity through steam generators and the plant is operated in an autonomous power supply, instructions were given to increase the transfer coefficients of excess electricity used in the production process to the National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan JSC system.

During the visit of the working group, the work performed at the main production facilities of the Uzbekistan GTL plant, as well as the current state of the equipment, providing for the performance of work in the processes of reducing production volumes, were studied.

Instructions were given to conduct studies at the plants to extend the operating period and to constantly improve the knowledge and skills of the workers working at these plants.

The Chairman of the Board emphasized that the Uzbekistan GTL plant has produced a total of more than 200 thousand tons of synthetic fuel, which is continuously sold through the trading platform of the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange and supplied to consumers.

Following the visit, they got acquainted with the conditions created in the working camp of the Uzbekistan GTL plant for living and leisure of workers.

It should be noted that the plant will produce 1.5 million tons of finished liquid products worth more than US$1 billion per year. In particular, 307 thousand tons of jet fuel, 724 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 437 thousand tons of naphtha, 53 thousand tons of liquefied gas.
