Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 July 2020, the National Press Center of Uzbekistan hosted a press conference on the organization and conduct of check prize games organized by the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the State Tax Committee said.

Today, in many pharmacies, at gas stations and some retail outlets, instead of the usual check, consumers are issued checks of online cash registers (KKM) and virtual cash registers.

Each such check contains unique information - a QR code, as well as a fiscal sign, the name of the purchased product, price, VAT rate, payment amount and others.

An important advantage is that these checks take part in the prize games organized by the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.

Prize check games, in which every consumer who receives a check with a unique QR code, becomes a potential owner of a valuable prize, start today in the city of Tashkent. The prize fund is 1 billion soums. The first prize draw is scheduled for 22 July 2020. It will be held in one of the capital’s largest supermarkets.

Prize games are held in accordance with the Decree of the Head of State “On measures to introduce modern information technologies in the settlement system in the field of trade and the provision of services, as well as strengthen public control in this area” of September 6, 2019.

How to become a member of the prize games?

To participate in the prize games, the received check with a QR code must be registered using the Soliq mobile application or via SMS to the short number 1077.

Using the Soliq mobile application, you need to scan the QR code of the check, after which this check will take part in the drawing.

It is also possible to register a check by sending a fiscal sign of 12 digits in the form of SMS to 1077 short number.

Important! Only the main holder of the check (the consumer who bought the goods directly) with the original check kept intact (a copy of the check will not be taken into account and the basis for the prize) can participate in the drawing of valuable prizes.

Where are KKM and virtual ticket offices already installed online?

We remind you that from 1 January 2020 to the present day, online cash registers and virtual cash registers are used by more than 26.7 thousand business entities involved in the sale of alcohol and tobacco products, drugs, gasoline, diesel fuel and natural gas for automobiles. In the city of Tashkent, the number of outlets equipped with online cash registers and virtual cash desks is more than 4 thousand.

From 1 August, a business will join them, the annual turnover of which last year exceeded 5 billion soums. From 1 January 2021 - business entities whose annual turnover (revenue) of the last year exceeded 100 million soums, or within a year reached the specified maximum size. All remaining business entities must use online cash registers and virtual cash registers from 1 January 2022.

To make it easier for consumers to find outlets where online cash registers and virtual cash registers are installed, the “geolocation” function has been added to the Soliq mobile application. Here, for the convenience of consumers, all outlets equipped with smart cash desks are displayed.

Also, at the checkout counter of each outlet, a special round sticker is pasted, indicating the information about the presence of online KKM in it.

Who can take part in the drawing of valuable prizes?

At the first stage, consumers in the city of Tashkent can take part in the drawing. Further, it is planned to hold similar prize games in the regions.

If among the winners there are citizens under the age of 18 and incompetent individuals, prizes can be received by their legal guarantors, with the submission of supporting documents.

The chance of winning does not depend on the amount of the purchase. The number of checks increases the number of chances to win. However, one check (not a copy) can be registered only once.

Important! The registered check must be kept intact in order to receive a prize in case of a win!
