Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Clinics that have expressed a desire to train residents will be able to apply to the Ministry of Health.

Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, private clinics with the potential of highly qualified scientific and practical personnel, modern material and technical base and educational programs for training clinical residents will begin training clinical residency specialists.

This is envisaged by the order of the Minister of Health on admission to clinical residency in the 2023/2024 academic year.

According to the document, private clinics that have expressed a desire to train specialists must submit an application to the Ministry.

A special commission under the Ministry of Health will consider applications and select private clinics that meet the conditions and requirements established by law.

At the same time, the members of the commission, based on the possibility of implementing a high-quality educational process for each private clinic, determine:

• list of taught specialties;

• admission quota indicators;

• Candidates for secretaries responsible for reception.

Admission will be carried out in accordance with established requirements.

In addition, medical universities that train clinical residency specialists in the regions will be attached to private clinics.

Associated medical higher education institutions will provide methodological support to these clinics in the process of admission, theoretical training, quality continuous education processes, knowledge and skills control.

Private clinics authorized to train clinical residents will be issued a copy of the certificate established by the Ministry of Health after their accreditation within the prescribed period.
