Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 May 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloev held talks via videoconference with Deputy Foreign Minister of India Sanjay Verma.

The parties discussed priority areas for the further development of Uzbek-Indian relations, confirmed mutual interest in strengthening political dialogue and intensifying inter-parliamentary ties. The course of implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level within the framework of bilateral and multilateral events was considered.

An exchange of views also took place on topical issues of interaction between Uzbekistan and India within the framework of international institutions.
