Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 18 December, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and Head of the President’s Administration, Adilbek Kasimaliev.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated Adilbek Kasimaliev on his appointment as Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan.

The discussion expressed confidence in close cooperation to address important tasks set by the governments of the two countries and in the continued implementation of agreements reached in areas such as trade and economic cooperation, transport and logistics, energy, industrial cooperation, agriculture, and cultural and humanitarian affairs.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan had sent a congratulatory letter to his Kyrgyz counterpart on his appointment to the post.
