Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Saidov met with Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Kuala Lumpur.
During the meeting, Saidov conveyed warm greetings from Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia.
Discussing bilateral relations, they noted their dynamic development across all sectors, particularly following high-level meetings.
Both sides emphasized significant potential for expanding cooperation, including in economic, agricultural, educational, cultural, and other areas.
According to the Prime Minister’s office of Malaysia, the meeting also explored prospects for strengthening collaboration, especially in higher education, oil and gas, healthcare, tourism, halal industry, and within the framework of ASEAN-Uzbekistan multilateral cooperation.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim further extended an invitation to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan to visit Malaysia in the near future.
