Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 April, as part of a working visit to Uzbekistan, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. This was reported by the press service of Rais RT.

“In these difficult times, we have maintained an effective trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian partnership and continue to strengthen our cooperation,” Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As positive examples of mutually beneficial cooperation, Rustam Minnikhanov named the projects that were launched today in Jizzakh.

Rais of Tatarstan also noted that, thanks to the support of the Uzbek side, the next facilities were opened, including the Center for Medical Education and the technopark.

In turn, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov noted that mutual visits give an increase in trade.

“Each of your visits is accompanied by the opening of new facilities. Today you were at the opening of the Jizzakh technopark. I hope that it will be as successful as Chirchik,” said Abdulla Aripov.

The parties noted that there are still many opportunities for cooperation. In particular, in such areas as energy, automotive, helicopter, gas motor fuel, and agriculture.
