Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New tariffs for the collection and removal of solid waste have been established in Tashkent, Samarkand, Ferghana and Andijan regions. In other regions prices will also be changed.

It is noted that the uniform payment tariffs for services provided to the population for the collection and removal of solid waste in the republic have not been revised for the last 2-4 years. This negatively affected the financial position of sanitation companies and led to a sharp decline in their profitability by the end of 2022.

According to the new tariff, the amount of payments in 22 cities and districts of Tashkent region for individuals will be 4,400 soums per month (for legal entities 61,000 (68,320 including VAT).

In Samarkand and Samarkand region, the monthly payment will be 5,000 soums for individuals and 90,000 soums for legal entities (including VAT).

In other districts of the region, the monthly amount per person will be 4,129 soums for individuals and 59,693 soums for legal entities (including VAT).

In the cities of Ferghana region, the monthly payment for 1 person will be 5,000 soums for individuals and 48,000 soums for legal entities (53,760 including VAT). In the regions, the price will be 4,000 soums for individuals and 48,000 soums for legal entities (53,760 with VAT).

A single tariff has been established in 16 cities and districts of the Andijan region - 3,500 soums per month for individuals and 47,500 soums (including VAT) for legal entities.
