Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a telephone conversation on 12 April, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the presented first Turkish electric car under the Togg brand.

The Leader of Uzbekistan also congratulated the President and the fraternal people of Türkiye on a major technological breakthrough – the launch of the industrial production of modern electric vehicles in the country.

During the conversation, a high assessment was given to the current level of the comprehensive strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.

Opportunities for further enhancing the scale of industrial cooperation between the leading companies of Uzbekistan and Türkiye in high-tech industries were noted.

The main attention was paid to the thorough preparation of the meeting of the high-level bilateral Strategic Cooperation Council scheduled for this year.

Views were also exchanged on the current issues of the regional agenda.

At the end of the telephone conversation, the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his full support and wished successful holding of the upcoming referendum on introducing amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
