Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures for the further development of horse breeding and equestrian sport”.

According to the resolution in 2019-2020, on the terms of public-private partnership in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Syrdarya, Tashkent, Khorezm regions and the city of Tashkent will be created youth equestrian schools.

An Innovative Breeding and Genetic Center for Reproduction and Breeding of Karabair horses will be created at the Horse Breeding and Equestrian Federation of Uzbekistan with the introduction of the position of Deputy Chairman of the Horse Breeding and Equestrian Federation of Uzbekistan - Director of the Innovative Breeding and Genetic Center.

The complex for breeding and breeding horses of the Karabair breed, UE “Karabair otchilik mazhmuasi” from the jurisdiction of Shurtansky Gas Chemical Complex LLC has been transferred to the JSC Uzbekiston Temir Yollari.

Children and youth equestrian schools are organized, first of all, in the territories of hippodromes.

In 2019 regional and republican championships in equestrian sport will be held.

Rehabilitation of children with disabilities in physical or mental development, studying in specialized educational institutions, through hippotherapy (a method of physiotherapy treatment through riding) will be organized.
