Nasafi, who lived in the eleventh century, was one of the prominent representatives of the science of aqeedah, played an important role in the wide dissemination of the teachings of Maturidia, founded by Abu Mansour Maturidi. He wrote many works aimed at clarifying misconceptions about Islam, fighting religious fanaticism. He was buried in the village of Kovchin, Karshi district.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to the Kashkadarya region on 24-25 February 2017, made recommendations on improvement of the mausoleum of Abu Muin Nasafi, creation of necessary conditions for pilgrims, the organization of the library, the translation of the works of the scientist.
Currently, a lot of creative work is being done here. A school of science "akida" and a library are constructed here.
Uzbek leader in a conversation with religious figures noted that the works of our great ancestor are of great importance today, it is necessary to publish these works and bring their essence and meaning to the younger generation.
In this complex, a hand-written copy of the Holy Quran is kept. It is made on Samarkand paper, decorated with calligraphic elements. Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that such books are an invaluable heritage of our people, which must be carefully preserved.
