Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Over the past two years, 13 exclusive market access rights have been revoked, and seven more such rights are set to be annulled soon. This move will create opportunities for more than 1,500 entrepreneurs to enter the market, announced President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
For instance, all accredited enterprises will now be able to certify their hospitality activities.
Previously, documentation for tenders through the Ministry of Construction’s "Transparent Construction" system was prepared exclusively by consultation centers within the ministry. However, starting from 1 October, the functions of these consultation centers will be fully transferred to the private sector. The "Transparent Construction" system, as well as the Business Rating, will be managed by entrepreneurs themselves.
The President noted that he is ready to offer other services currently provided by government agencies to the private sector, should entrepreneurs propose such initiatives.
