Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the mausoleum of Imam Bukhari on 15 June, on the eve of the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha.

Surahs from the Koran and duas were read.

The President spoke with religious leaders. The parties discussed the conditions being created for the development of science and education, educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and respect for national values.

The renovation of the complex is currently ongoing. Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the progress of construction and finishing work.

Having completed his trip to Samarkand, the President left for Tashkent.
