Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will make a working visit to the city of Kazan on 21 February to participate in the opening ceremony of the “Future Games”.
The program of visit envisages a bilateral meeting of the heads of the two states, during which the implementation of the highest-level agreements reached following the official visit to Russia on 5-7 October 2023, as well as further deepening the relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership will be discussed.
It should be noted that the “Games of the Future,” held for the first time in the Russian Federation from 21 February to 3 March, are competitions that combine classical sports, scientific developments and digital technologies.
About 227 teams from 107 countries, including athletes from Uzbekistan, will take part in the large-scale sports competition.
