Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - At the invitation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will make a working visit to the city of Bishkek on 13 October to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

During the Summit events, issues of expanding multilateral cooperation within the CIS will be considered, including the implementation of programs and projects of partners in the field of trade, investment, industrial cooperation, innovation, digitalization, transport, education, culture and other areas.

Heads of states also discuss changing opinions on international security issues.

At the end of the event, adoption of agreements and decisions on priority areas of interaction within the Commonwealth is expected.
