During the visit, it is planned to discuss expansion of the Uzbek-Qatari cooperation, actual issues of regional and international character of mutual interest.

In the result of talks, it is expected that the sides will ink several bilateral documents directed at deepening interaction between two states in various spheres.

Qatar was one of the first Arabian countries, which recognized sovereignty of Uzbekistan on 30 December 1991 On 27 November 1997, the sides signed joint statement on establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar.
