Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the UAE on 13 January for an official visit.

He was greeted at Abu Dhabi International Airport by the Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and other high-ranking officials.

A ceremonial guard of honor was formed in honor of the guest, and the national flags of both countries were raised.

During the visit, which will continue on 14 January, President Mirziyoyev will participate in the international summit "Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week."

Meetings with leaders of major organizations, companies, and banks in the UAE are also planned.

On 15 January, high-level negotiations will take place.
