Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is currently receiving World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Anna Bjerde.

The agenda includes issues of expanding practical cooperation in the field of poverty alleviation, transformation of the energy sector, privatization of state-owned enterprises, support for social programs, and others.

It should be noted that the portfolio of active projects with the participation of the World Bank has doubled over the past few years. In general, the bank's investments in Uzbekistan reached US$10 billion.
