Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the sidelines of the Uzbekistan – France Business Forum, held as part of the official visit of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron in Samarkand city, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Orano, Claude Imauven.

Orano is the world’s largest producer of uranium and nuclear fuel, with assets of 29 billion euros.

The initiatives to enhance collaboration in geological exploration and uranium mining were supported at the meeting.
