Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of his stay in Shenzhen, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Chairman of the Silk Road Fund Zhu Jun.

The fund was created in 2014 on the initiative of the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping to provide financial support for trade, economic and investment cooperation within the framework of the One Belt, One Road project.

Joint plans for the implementation of promising projects were considered through the active use of the capabilities of the investment platform created jointly with the fund for financial support of industrial cooperation and infrastructure development.
