President of Uzbekistan leaves for New York

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 September 2010, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov left for New York, the USA, UzA reported.

As earlier reported, the Uzbek leader Islam Karimov will participate in the high-level plenary session of the UN General Assembly on Millennium Development Goals.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov will stay in New York on the invitation of the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on 20-21 September.

Uzbek leader Islam Karimov heads the governmental delegation of Uzbekistan. The delegation will present a report on progress of Uzbekistan in implementation of MDGs.
