Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On additional measures to accelerate the development of the tourism potential of the republic, as well as further increase the number of local and foreign tourists.”
The head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to halve the price of flights within Uzbekistan.
The President instructed the Ministry of Transport, together with Uzbekistan Airports, to organize flights from Tashkent to Nukus, Urgench, Bukhara, Karshi and Samarkand from May 2023 and reduce tariffs in these areas by half compared to the current tariffs.
In accordance with the resolution, regular flights will be opened from Ferghana, Namangan or Andijan to Bukhara, Samarkand, Termez, Urgench. Flights will be launched on such routes as Termez-Nukus, Samarkand-Urgench, Bukhara-Urgench, Ferghana-Urgench.
