In particular, the sides considered issues related to settlement of situation in Afghanistan, where Uzbekistan actively participates in rehabilitation of peace life. It was noted that economic revival of Afghanistan is important condition for political stabilization and return of population to creative activity.

Lindsey Graham expressed gratitude to the Uzbek President for warm reception and detailed exchange of opinions on bilateral and other issues of mutual interest.

Senator supported opinion on importance of interaction of two states in international arena on stabilizing situation, rehabilitating economy and solving social problems in Afghanistan.
