Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  As part of the BRICS summit events, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank (NDB).

During the meeting, they discussed establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with this influential multilateral financial institution.

Key areas for partnership identified included projects and programs in education and technological development, support for social initiatives, modernization of industry, infrastructure and logistics development, digitalization, energy, and public utilities.

The parties agreed to create a joint expert group to prepare specific cooperation projects.
