In turn, the head of the Government of Kazakhstan conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the President of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, issues of further enhancing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were discussed. Special attention was paid to the formation of a new agenda for practical interaction in preparation for the upcoming joint events at the highest level.
The need to remove barriers and take coordinated measures to increase the volume of mutual trade turnover was emphasized, including during the working group’s activities, which are headed by authorized ministers.
Issues of deepening cooperation in industry, transport, and logistics, which are key areas in the strategic partnership between the two states, were also discussed.
The expediency of actively promoting a new portfolio of investment programs in priority sectors and infrastructure projects of regional importance in transport and energy was noted.
The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the importance of continuing close and systemic contacts at the government level to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan radically.
