Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 November, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the United Arab Emirates, headed by the Minister of Government Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi.

Minister Al Gergawi conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammad Al Nahyan, the Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum, and the Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.

During the conversation, current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed. The high dynamics of development of Uzbek-Emirati relations was noted, the volume of trade turnover is growing, and the number of joint ventures and projects is increasing.

President Mirziyoyev and the UAE delegation confirmed their mutual interest in further expanding practical cooperation. 

Particular attention was paid to the areas of effective management, development of trade potential, modernization of urban infrastructure, high technologies, artificial intelligence and other promising areas.
