Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his official visit to Abu Dhabi, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.

The sides discussed current issues regarding the deepening of multilateral cooperation and the activation of interaction in priority areas.

The results of historic high-level negotiations, which were held earlier and allowed Uzbek-Emirati relations to reach a new level of strategic partnership, were noted with satisfaction.

Sheikh Mansour expressed support for Uzbekistan’s intention to fully and practically implement the agreements reached with leaders of key Emirati companies and holdings.

The meeting also focused on increasing mutual trade and boosting investments. Special attention was given to advancing joint projects in sectors such as housing construction, transport infrastructure development, energy, mining, urban planning, and digitalization.

The potential for implementing joint programs in artificial intelligence, including the training of highly qualified specialists, was particularly emphasized.
